Economic inequality, followed by the environmental dangers arising from climate change and social polarization, are the three main risk to the world in the in the next decade, says the Global Risk Report 2017, the annual review of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Published in London in January 2017.


The second part of this report deals with the topic Climate Change and, for the first time in the history of the report, five environmental factors have been classified as "high risk" and "high probability" with extreme weather phenomena emerging as the main global.

Multinationals like Apple, Google, Tesla Motors, Ikea or Boeing, are already betting on this challenge. They invest millions in efficient facilities, to reduce costs and to self-supply energy.
